#AKhouse PFD Voting

To Speaker Edgmon Part 2 of 3

3/31/2018

To: Representative Bryce Edgmon, Speaker of the House, District 37
Re. Questions About Your Presser Comments On 3/28/2018

PART 2/3…

You also alluded to previous votes on the PFD allocation in the Operating Budget... votes that You concurred with as a member of the previous house majority.  This leads to our next comment on your statement about the need for a ‘balanced approach’.  Mr. Speaker, a balanced approach must also include cutting revenue demand and not voting unconstitutionally to spend money that Alaska does not have.  We provided millions upon millions of dollars in cuts to the previous and present majority coalitions only to be ignored, demeaned and deleted.  Yes, Representative Edgmon, you are 100% correct in saying that you “don’t know what the voters want.”
Did you know that over 5000 people have signed a petition asking that SJR1/HJR34 be put to the public for consideration, numerous polls conducted by legislators and citizen groups have been forwarded to the legislature and untold numbers of testimonies submitted that have encouraged budget cuts… all obviously to no avail.  One thing that’s become beyond obvious is that the Alaska State Legislature is operating in an unconstitutional manner by incurring debt upon our future income for perpetual wasteful expenditures.

            Constitutional Reminders:

Article IX - § 8. State Debt

No state debt shall be contracted unless authorized by law for capital improvements or unless authorized by law for housing loans for veterans, and ratified by a majority of the qualified voters of the State who vote on the question. The State may, as provided by law and without ratification, contract debt for the purpose of repelling invasion, suppressing insurrection, defending the State in war, meeting natural disasters, or redeeming indebtedness outstanding at the time this constitution becomes effective.

§ 12. Budget

The governor shall submit to the legislature, at a time fixed by law, a budget for the next fiscal year setting forth all proposed expenditures and anticipated income of all departments, offices, and agencies of the State. The governor, at the same time, shall submit a general appropriation bill to authorize the proposed expenditures, and a bill or bills covering recommendations in the budget for new or additional revenues.

§ 13. Expenditures

No money shall be withdrawn from the treasury except in accordance with appropriations made by law. No obligation for the payment of money shall be incurred except as authorized by law. Unobligated appropriations outstanding at the end of the period of time specified by law shall be void.
How many of the deficit budgets over the last decade have you voted for?
How many credits to outside and foreign companies did you vote for that Alaska is now indebted to?

Thanks,
Jon Corbett, Dillingham Alaska

To Speaker Edgmon Part 1 of 3

March 29, 2018

To: Representative Bryce Edgmon, Speaker of the House, District 37
Re: Questions About Your Presser Comments On 3/28/2018 (Video Posted Below)

***Please Note That I am splitting this into 3 separate posts in order to keep it simple and that it will be posted publicly because it references a lot of other Alaskan citizens***

Part 1/3…
During yesterday’s Alaska House Majority Coalition presser, You made a couple of statements that I’d like some clarification on.  Responding to a question from the Associated Press about the responsibility of voting for a full dividend under a deficit budget, you said that people just don’t understand the process.  How is that so?  We (Hands Off Our PFD) are very involved and engaged in the processes of Our legislature.  In fact, we’ve been so involved that several dozen of us took it upon ourselves to do a comprehensive budget audit followed by recommendations and even a long term budgeting plan. We did ‘peel back the layers’ and participate in our civic duty.  This citizen effort was in response to the effort by then Majority Leader Charisse Millett that she called #AllAboutTheBudget. Alaskans responded and were essentially ignored and even deleted by someone in Speaker Mike Chenault’s office amongst others that also deleted emails and never responded to constituents.  The current session is reflecting the same ole’ same ole’ in Juneau.
As a legislator, you swore an Oath to uphold the Constitution and seeing as the Constitution does not mention or contain the words party/parties or caucus; Would You support non-partisan state elections and caucusing in Alaska?

Constitutional Reminders:
Article I - § 2. Source of Government
All political power is inherent in the people. All government originates with the people, is founded upon their will only, and is instituted solely for the good of the people as a whole.

Article XII - § 5. Oath of Office

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Alaska, and that I will faithfully discharge my duties as . . . to the best of my ability.”
Thanks,
Jon Corbett

What is Donald Trump doing now to actually make America First?  There's a whole lot of fluff money in the US government spending that would do better at home to truly Make America Great Again.

Granted it's not 'all' the money... but it's enough to make a truly productive impact to addressing America's own domestic socio-economic falterings...

Whom Is On The Hook & Whom Got Hacked?

American Population =  321.4 Million

2015: 171.3 million tax units

77.5 million—or 45.3 percent—won’t pay income tax.

171.3 – 77.5 = 93.8

This equals 227.6 Million Americans that receive the benefit of anything federal on the backs of less than one third of the US Population.  It also means that these 93-94 Million Americans are funding the perpetual global welfare and warfare.  We also pay for the near perpetual fun time vacations that the ruling class in DC take on money that they are legally able to use force to acquire from We The People. Below is just one small example from a blog post I ranted back in January of 2014.

PS… All the world’s a buzz about this whole FBI Director testifying before Congress about electioneering and Russians and Such.  What ever happened to the Ohio case of where it was pretty much mapped out how Karl Rove ‘hacked’ the returns way back in 2004?

Anyways… enjoy this screen cap:

Oh… And There’s This:

Here’s the link to the legal documents that map out how they did it:
