Yeah, Yeah, Yeah... I Know. I acknowledge that the "Strikes Against Salmon" post ended with me writing that the next post would have something about trawl bycatch and it ended up being a ranting against how the government is caving into foreign entities. I can't even figure out how to stretch that last post to by-catch, unless it also is yet another risk to the fish in the Arctic. Well, duh... Of Course It Is.
Bycatch and the issues surrounding it are a quagmire of legal agreements, treaties and federal regulations that are mind boggling at best. So, I'm working on it...
